I'll dominate 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
